December is coming up, so that means that Christmas Crafts are probably on your mind!  Over the past month we have been compiling a list of our favorite Christmas Waldorf style crafts that are fun for both kids and grown up kids!  Here are the 10 that made the cut…  Merry Xmas everyone!

1: Twiggy Christmas Trees:  From the blog MicheleMadame This great Christmas Craft looks pretty easy, and awesome.  Drill holes in twigs, add some ribbon, optional paint and you have a Waldorf Twiggy Christmas Tree!

2: Ice Lanterns: These are kind of a one night only craft, and seem to require cold weather… however, they are so pretty that we are adding them to this list with great enthusiam!  Straight out of the blog DesignSponge this tutorial requires only ice, greenery from your yard and some glass containers.  (oh, and a cold place like a freezer or freezing weather outside).

3: Felt Christmas Ornaments: This isn’t precisely a tutorial, but it does contain top secret plans for making felt Christmas ornaments.  Download the PDF, get some felt, and sew these lovely Ornaments while thanking the talented folk at Stumbles and Stitches

4: Beeswax Star Bunting:  So super easy!   Kids will love this craft, and it only requires Beeswax sheets and a cookie cutter!  Thank you Here we are together!

5: Beeswax rolled Candles: We found this great and comprehensive tutorial for making rolled Beeswax candles.  This is a craft that a three year old can do, but that adults secretly love to do just as much!  Big thank you to the blog Homemade Serenity for putting this together.

6: Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments: Make the “cinnamon dough” using the recipe, cut out the shape, and decorate!  These ornaments smell wonderful and look beautiful.  From Martha Stewart, this craft is great to do with young and not so young kids!

7: Golden Walnut Necklaces: This is a wonderful craft from the blog Zinkadinkadoo.  Basically, you take walnuts, paint them gold, cut them in half, add a little bell, glue them up and all of your neighbors will be totally jealous!

8: Wax and Glitter Pinecone ornaments: OMG, these are really cool.  You will need pinecones, beeswax and glitter to make these beautiful ornaments for Christmas.  Big thanks to the folk at Magic Onion Blog.

9: Advent Calendar:  If you are looking for an involved project to do with your child, this is a great one!  By far the most challanging craft on the list, this one requires some sewing.  Still, it is a wonderful result and we wanted to pass it on!  Thanks to the folks at Cupcakes with Sprinkes for this great craft!

    I have always wanted to try making beeswax candles! Even though the holidays have passed I am interested in making some for my house!
